GB QV 1857 1d Pale Rose Transitional (Plate 37) SGC9A(1) PI GU Stevenage Cover

Good used. On a dated cover (August 6th 1857) from Stevenage to London that confirms this is a transitional shade / printing. A light filing crease down the left side of the stamp and some light general creasing affecting the cover are the only hidden faults. The stamp has been positioned in the lower left corner (contrary to postal regulations of the time).
